MIIT Releases the Implementation Plan for the “AI + Software” Special Action
On Sept 11, MIIT released the Implementation Plan for the “AI + Software” Special Action. The Plan promotes the integration of AI across the software development lifecycle and supports the intelligent upgrading of foundational software, industrial software, and terminal applications. It also identifies agentic software as a priority area and calls for advances in AI programming tools, software security, open-source ecosystems, computing and data infrastructure, and standards for AI programming, software agents, and intelligent software services.
