SAC Establishes Five Standardization Technical Organizations
Recently, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) released the Announcement on the Establishment of Five Standardization Technical Organizations, Including the National Technical Committee on Mechanical Energy Storage Technology. The Announcement establishes five new standardization technical organizations covering mechanical energy storage, charity, extremely-weak magnetic field technology and application, industrial intelligence, and evaluation for laboratory instruments and equipment. SAC also dissolved the National Technical Committee 534 on Charity and Social Work (SAC/TC534), transferring its charity-related standardization work to the newly established Standardization Working Group 43 on Charity (SAC/SWG43), while standardization work in the social work sector will be managed by the Central Social Work Department.
