NPC Released 2021 Legislative Work Plan

On April 21st, the National People’s Congress (NPC) released the Legislative Work Plan for 2020. According to the NPC Standing Committee, the legislation focus for 2021 will be on key fields related to national security and extraterritorial jurisdiction, emerging technologies such as digital finance, artificial intelligence and cloud computing, and foreign relations to combat sanctions and foreign interference.
