Two Ministries Jointly Publish Guidelines for Commercializing Science and Tech Research

On December 4, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF)jointly issued the Interim Administrative Measures for Loan Risk Compensation for the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements (henceforth "Measures"), with implementation due to begin on January 1, 2016.

According to the Measures, loans for commercializing scientific and technological achievements shall conform to the following requirements:

Loans must be issued to small and medium-sized enterprises with annual sales under CNY300 million
The period of the loan must not exceed one year
