5.20-22 International Conference on WEEE & Used Battery Management and EPR Principle
With the rapid growth of economy, the environment and resource issues have become one of the greatest challenges of economic and social development in China. As China is the biggest manufacturer, consumer and waste producer of electrical and electronic equipments (EEE), Chinese government announced the “Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipments Recycling Regulation” in 2009, which regulates the WEEE collection and recycling activities in order to harmonize economy growth and environment protection. The active participation of the state-owned companies, private enterprises and joint-adventures has brought new funds driving the development of the WEEE recycling industry in China, and improvement on the technology and management level of this industry. The WEEE recycling in China has become one of the emerging industries, which is contributing to the economy booming.
In order to keep the EEE industry sustainably develop according to the industrial ecology, and improve the WEEE recycling technologies, China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute and its excellent partners have organized this international conference for six times since 2005. The conference attracts experts, scholars, entrepreneurs from America, Europe, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions. It has become the bridge of cooperation among universities and institutes, EEE producers and WEEE recyclers, the platform of communication between government and enterprises. From now on, the 2015 International Conference on WEEE & Used Battery Management and EPR Principle has started to accept registration. For more information, please click here.
