NDRC Promotes Development of Smart Cities and Next Generation Internet

On August 21st, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the General Administration of Press and Publication, Radio, Film, and Television (GAPPRFT) jointly released their "Notice Regarding the Development of National Next Generation Internet Model Cities Construction" (NDRC High-tech [2013] No. 1884) to promote the development of next generation Internet technology applications to smart cities development.
