MOHURD Expands Smart City Pilot Program to 103 Eligible Cities

On August 1st, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) released an expanded list of 103 cities (districts, counties and towns) eligible for participation in China's 2013 Smart City Pilot Program.

The Pilot Program aims to promote the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the development of information infrastructure systems to areas such as transportation and utilities.
