MIIT to Handover Telecom Network Construction Certification to CACE
On July 25th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued a notice to all provincial branches and telecom operators transferring its certification authority for construction of telecom networks to the China Association of Communications Enterprises (CACE). The move follows the State Council decision, announced in May, to limit MIIT's scope of administrative certification responsibilities.
