SAC to Streamline and Integrate Mandatory Standards
On July 25th, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) announced a plan pre-approved by theState Council to streamline and reduce the number of mandatory industry standards.
The State Council expects to complete this work by 2013 with full support from mandatory standard issuers and the SAC shall be responsible for tracking work progress and verification.
