MIIT Releases Mobile Internet Information Security Standards

On June 6th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in conjunction withChina's Communications Standards Association(CCSA) held a public dialogue to discuss the recent release of four mobile Internet information security standards. The objective of the dialogue emphasized the importance of network security policies and standards. More than 100 participants from 50 different institutions attended the meeting ranging from telecom operators, mobile smart terminal manufacturers, network security vendors, Internet companies, research institutions and universities.
