USITO Call for Comments: MIIT Releases Draft Regulations on Radio Frequency Allocation
On Sept 14, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Radio Frequency Allocation (Draft for Comments) for public comment. The draft updates China’s national radio-frequency allocation framework to incorporate relevant outcomes of the 2023 World Radiocommunication Conference and improve spectrum coordination and utilization. The proposed changes cover areas including IMT and integrated sensing and communications, satellite systems, high-altitude platform stations, aeronautical and maritime communications, and technical requirements for radio equipment. Comments are due to MIIT by October 14, 2026.
