USITO Call for Comments: CAC Released Anti-Cyberviolence Law (Draft for Comments)
On July 29, CAC released the Anti-Cyberviolence Law (Draft for Comments) calling for public comments through August 28, 2026. The draft law would establish a dedicated legal framework for the prevention, monitoring, reporting, investigation, response, and remediation of cyberviolence. It would impose more specific obligations on network service providers, including requirements relating to user registration and identity verification, personal information protection, content governance, monitoring and early warning, evidence preservation, complaint handling, and account and content management.
