TC260 Seeks Cybersecurity National Standards Proposals
On February 26, the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee (TC260)released on its website a notice calling forcybersecurity national standards projects proposals.
According to the notice, TC260's main goal in 2016 is to support cybersecurity standards research and drafting/revision projects related to big data, Internet Plus, China Manufacturing 2025 and other national strategies. Work priorities include:
- Critical information infrastructure protection
- Cybersecurity review
- Cyber trusted identity
- Big data security and personal information protection
- Cloud computing service security
- Industrial control system information security
- Smart city security
- Encryption technologies and application
- Encrypted information protection and regulation
An Application Guide is attached in the notice, with an annex of the full catalog of all currently existing cybersecurity national standards and those under development. The deadline for application is March 24.
