SAC Seeks Comment On Code Of Conduct For Consortia Standardization
On October 28, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) published on their website the GB/T-Consortia Standardization: Part 1: Code of Good Conduct (Draft for Comments), with a deadline of November 28. This standard aims to help facilitate the development and implementation of consortia standards, and to reflect the decisive role of market in the allocation of standardization resources.
Guided by SAC, this standard was drafted by theChina National Institute of Standardization (CNIS) as one of two parts of the national standard for consortia standardization, which is planned to be published before the end of 2015.
USITO has distributed to members the draft standard and an unofficial translation, and is collecting member comments with a deadline of November 21.
