SAC Released National Standard Initiation Notice on Technique Requirements for Critical Network Devices

On November 26, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) published a national standard initiation notice entitled Security Technique Requirements for Critical Network Devices: Common Requirements. The standard will be drafted by CAICT, and will be reported and implemented by TC485. The government industry authority charged with oversight will be MIIT. This standard is expected to be finished within 24 months, with  legislative stages including drafting, a period for open comment, revision, and final release.
