NIPA Releases New Trademark Rules

On Feb.12, the National Intellectual Property Administration (NIPA) released Some Provisions on Standardizing Trademark Filing Acts (Draft for comment) for public comments. The comment deadline is March 14. Accompanying the draft, the NIPA released a description which indicated that the regulation was developed based on the Trademark Law, providing a basis and criteria for day-to-day trademark filings.
