New Low-Carbon Product Certification Policy

The National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC) and Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) jointly published on March 19th the Notice Regarding the Interim Administrative Measures for Low-carbon Product Certification. 

Aimed at achieving China's Environmental 12th FYP objectives, the Notice outlines a comprehensive low-carbon product certification and management system, effective February 18th.

The system will be spearheaded by a low-carbon technical committee jointly established by the NDRC and CNCA, which will create and implement:

• Product Catalogs
• Evaluation Standards
• Technical Specifications and Certification Rules
• Certificates and Marks
