MPS Released Guideline for Internet Personal Information Security Protection for Public Comment

On November 30, the Cybersecurity Protection Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) released the Guideline for Internet Personal Information Security Protection (Draft for Comments). The Guideline is developed on the basis of Article 7, the "baseline" for Level 3 of the 2008 standard Information Security Technology - Baseline for Classified Protection of Information System Security, and raises new and more detailed requirements for Internet firms to build a personal information security protection management systems and implement technical measures.
