MIIT Seeks Comment on New Regs on Telecoms VAS Pilot Services

On April 26th, China's Ministry of Industry & Information Technology (MIIT) published "The Administrative Measures for Pilot Operation of New Types of Telecommunications Services" seeking for comment by May 28th. The measure would require vendors providing services in China to apply for a "pilot license" from MIIT for a maximum service trial period of two years and other additional restrictions.
