MIIT Releases Implementation Guidelines For Private Investment in Telecommunication Industry
On Dec. 27th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released on its website the "Implementation Guidelines About Encouraging and Guiding Private Investment in the Telecommunications Industry", clarifying details for the State Council's Guidelines About Encouraging and Guiding Private Investment's Healthy Development (Document 13[2010]) released in 2010. The Implementation Guidelines list a few key pilot areas for private investment.
