MIIT Released the Administrative Regulations on Use of Frequency Band 5905-5925 MHz in Direct-Link Communication of Internet of Vehicles (Intelligent Connected Vehicles) (Trial)

On November 13, MIIT released the Administrative Regulations on Use of Frequency Band 5905-5925 MHz in Direct-Link Communication of Internet of Vehicles (Intelligent Connected Vehicles) (Trial), which allocated the 5905-5925 MHz band with a total of 20MHz as the dedicated frequency band to be used for direct-link communication technology for intelligent connected vehicles based on LTE-V2X technology. Additionally, the Regulations also included rules on related frequencies, stations, equipment and interference coordination.
