MIIT Launches China Efficient Motor Promotion Project with GEF Funding
On Nov. 27th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announced at a motor efficiency conference the launch of the China Efficient Motor Promotion Project with financial backing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) fund.
The meeting, which was attended by MIIT officials from central, provincial and municipal levels, and representatives from UNDP, focused on discussion of China's motor industry overall Project framework (policies, technology, financing, and related information) and implementation timeline.
