MIIT Issues 4G (TD-LTE) Licenses to China's Three Telecom Carriers
On Dec. 4th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the issuance of TD-LTE licenses to state-owned telecom carriers China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. MIIT explains in an interpretation posted on its website that after large scale commercial TD-LTE trials the technology has reached maturity.
