MIIT Expands Telecom VAS Opening in Shanghai FTZ

On Jan. 6th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Shanghai Municipal Government jointly released "Guidelines to Further Open-up China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone's Telecom Value-added Services" to clarify and refine opening-up measures set forth in the "Framework Plan" and the "Negative List" previously released in Sept. 2013.
