MIIT and NDRC Release the 15th Five-Year Plan for the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry
On Sept 15, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) jointly released the Development Plan for the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry under the 15th Five-Year Plan. Covering 2026-2030, the Plan sets development priorities for integrated circuits, electronic components and materials, intelligent sensors, electronic manufacturing equipment, advanced computing and AI hardware, consumer electronics, energy electronics, and industry-specific electronic systems. It also calls for stronger industrial and supply-chain resilience, technological innovation, standards and testing capabilities, green manufacturing, and international cooperation.
