ISC Releases Network Terminal Security Service Self-regulation Convention

On Dec. 3rd, Mr. Lu Wei, Secretary General of the Internet Society of China (ISC), presided over the public release and signing of an industry initiative jointly spearheaded by China's top eight terminal security service companies (Tencent, Baidu, Qihoo360, Kingsoft, Rising, Jiangmin, Topsec and NQ) and backed by twenty two other domestic firms.  

Entitled "Convention to Self-regulate Network Terminal Security Services", the document aims to fulfill two objectives:

• Information security and network protection
• Industry adoption and standardization
