Government Procurement Suppliers to Get Credit Ratings
On November 12, the State Administration of Taxation (SAT) published on its website Administrative Measures for Credit Ratings of Government Procurement Suppliers under the National Tax System, for implementation June 1, 2016.
According to the Measures, credit evaluation will be based on both qualitative evaluation of rule obedience and quantitative analysis of product quality or program implementation. Suppliers receiving the lowest grade evaluation for three consecutive years will face punishments including:
