Four Administrations Jointly Released Identification Method for Illegal Collection and Use of Personal Information by Apps

On December 30, 2019, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) jointly released the Identification Method for Illegal Collection and Use of Personal Information by Apps, which had called for public comments this May.
