CNCA and SIPO Issue Administrative Measures for Certification of Intellectual Property

On February 11, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) and the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) issued the Administrative Measures for Certification of Intellectual Property. The Administrative Measures were issued for public comment on January 23, 2018.
 
IP certification will be “government-led and market driven” and the Measures also includes a catalog containing three certification items. The certification certificate is valid for three years.
