Catalog of Network Critical Equipment and Products Released

On June 9,CAC, MIIT, MPS and CNCA released the Catalog of Network(Cyber) Critical Equipment and Cybersecurity-Specific Products (Batch 1) with immediate effect, in accordance with the Cyber Security Law (CSL). 
 
The Catalog has significant implications to ICT industry as this is a market-entry requirement for equipment and products that fall under the catalogue and mandates that equipment and products be certified or tested in accordance with the mandatory requirements of relevant national standards before being sold on the market.
