CAC & Four Other Ministries Jointly Released Provisions on the Administration of Multi-channel Distribution Services for Online Information Content
On May 29, CAC, MPS, SAMR, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Radio and Television Administration jointly released the Provisions on the Administration of Multi-channel Distribution Services for Online Information Content, which will take effect on September 1, 2026. The Provisions aim to emphasize the governance of online information content, regulate the multi-channel content distribution ecosystem on online platforms, and clarify the responsibilities of platforms and service agencies.
