CNCA Adopts E-Labeling Allowance for CCC Marks

Following the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) e-labeling allowance announcement for CMIIT ID, the China Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) recently adopted e-labeling for China CCC marks, with simpler conditions and requirements.

According to the CCC Mark Center, requirements for the China CCC Mark E-labeling Allowance include:

• Equipment display screen must be integral (non-removable)
• Users must be provided specific instructions on how to access the CCC mark along with the product model, while the access procedures shall be simple and the product model must match that on the CCC certificate
• Manufacturers utilizing e-labels are required to provide the CCC mark on individual packaging

The CCC Mark Center will be responsible for informing manufacturers upon inquiry. CNCA won't issue official notice as MIIT did.
