Jasmine Li

Policy Manager

Prior to joining USITO in January 2015, Jasmine Li served as an executive in the Legal Affairs Department of China's State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO). In that role, she drafted regulations and national standards, participated in the third revision of China's patent law, and participated in international forums including WIPO, APEC, FAO, UNESCO and CBD. She's also worked in a US law firm on IP affairs, and has been keen on pro bono service throughout her career, serving in many sectors including the Legal Aid Society of Peking University, Beijing 12355 youth hotline, Youth Court of Tennessee, and “Her Justice” in New York. Jasmine holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Law from Peking University and an LLM degree from Vanderbilt University. She is qualified to practice law in the PRC and New York State.
